Nickel Alloy 825 tubes - nickel alloys, precision nickel tubes, nickel tubing

Alloy 825 (UNS N08825) is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper and titanium. It was developed to provide exceptional corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments. The alloy is resistant to chloride stress-corrosion cracking and pitting. The addition of titanium stabilizes Alloy 825 against sensitization in the as-welded condition making the alloy resistant to intergranular attack after exposure to temperatures in a range that would sensitize unstabilized stainless steels. The fabrication of Alloy 825 is typical of nickel-base alloys, with material being readily formable and weldable by a variety of techniques Please note that we have a minimum order value of £10,000. Specific Heat (0-100°C):440 J/kg/°K Thermal conductivity:11.1 W/m/°K Thermal Expansion:14 μm/μm/°C Modulus Elasticity:196 Gpa Electrical Resistivity:1.13 μohm/cm Density:8.13 g/cm3

Heat Exchanger Tubes - Heat Exchanger, heat exchanger tubes, chemical tubes

Heat exchangers – used to cool, heat or reheat fluids, gases and air – are an area that Superior Tube specializes in. We offer a range of products specifically meeting the demands of companies fabricating shell and tube heat exchangers. Our heat exchanger tubes are used in a wide range of industries such as chemical processing, hydrocarbon processing and oil refining, alternative energy, nuclear power generation and aerospace. The stainless steel and nickel alloys we manufacture are high strength, corrosive resistant alloys that maintain optimum performance in extreme conditions. Superior Tube heat exchanger products can be purchased as seamless, welded or welded and drawn tubes in a multitude of sizes ranging from 0.010” OD to 1.500” OD with wall thickness as light as .003” Please note that we have a minimum order value of £10,000.

FASTAL Clad Plate - clad plate, industrial griddles, stainless steel sheets

FASTAL clad plate is our premium quality, three-layered product delivering the highest performance for industrial griddles. This tri-metal composite consists of an aluminum core metalurgically bonded between two sheets of stainless steel. Advantages Excellent bond strength Outstanding corrosion resistance Even surface heat distribution Reduced sticking and flavour transfer 30% lighter than carbon steel Can be saw cut or water jet cut Low maintenance Standard Alloys Stainless Steel Clad material: 304, 316, 430 and 436 Typical Sizes Thickness: 1/4 to ¾ inch Widths: 10” to 36” Lengths: 10” to 72” We can produce custom sizes to your specifications, small lot sizes and offer short lead times.

Clad Metal Plate - clad materials, roll bond technology, Electrical Conductivity

AMETEK Specialty Metal Products has been a leader in developing roll bonding dissimilar metals for more than fifty years. The advantage of clad materials is the end product combines the superior properties of each metal: Strength, Corrosion Resistance, Lightweight, Cost, Thermal and Electrical Conductivity. As a result, clad products produce a material superior to any of the individual metals taken alone. Clad metals produced by our roll bond technology combine two or more metals into a single sheet or plate that can be cut, welded or formed into a finished part ranging from chemical processing chambers and pressure vessels to small applications and clad pipe. We specialize in cladding stainless steel or nickel alloys to carbon steel as well as triple layer clad plates bonding stainless steel to an aluminum core. Because of the properties offered by clad metals, and the wide variety of cladding and backing materials available today, these metals can be combined to make custom

Super Duplex Tubes - stainless steel, super duplex, super duplex tubes

Our NORSOK-approved Super Duplex alloy 2507 tubes (UNS 32750) are custom-engineered for the most aggressive subsea and downhole oil and gas applications. Advantages include: NORSOK-approval Made to order in specialist non-standard sizes Superior strength and corrosion resistance Short lead times Small batch sizes With 80 years engineering expertise, we specialise in manufacturing corrosion resistant Super Duplex tubes for the increasing hostile temperature and operating environments. Greater Corrosion Resistance Than Standard Duplex Grades Super Duplex stainless like S32750, is a mixed microstructure of austenite and ferrite (50/50) which has improved strength over ferritic and austenitic steel grades. The main difference is that Super Duplex has a higher molybdenum and chromium content which gives the material greater corrosion resistance than standard duplex grades. Please note that we have a minimum order value of £10,000. Specific Heat (0-100°C):500 J/kg/°K Thermal conductivity:15 W/m/°K Thermal Expansion:11 μm/μm/°C Modulus Elasticity:200 Gpa Electrical Resistivity:8.12 μohm/cm Density:7.8 g/cm3

Aerospace Engine Tubes - Aerospace Engine, Engine Tubes, aircraft tubing

Major engineering companies who design and manufacture aerospace engines rely on the strength and durability of tubing products made at the Superior Tube mill. This is due to our reputation for producing high quality, high strength, yet lightweight tubing. You’ll find our tubes at work within a variety of systems in aircraft including fuel delivery, fire suppression, drain lines and bleed air systems. Bleed air is high temperature, high pressure air taken from the jet engine and fed into various areas of the plane to be used for things like de-icing and cabin pressurization. We use high performance materials such as Alloy 321 stainless steel and Inconel 625 and 718 for applications that deal with extreme temperatures. Precision tubing for aerospace engines can be ordered in sizes from 0.250” outside diameter right up to 1.5”. Please note that we have a minimum order value of £10,000.
