INSTALLATION
The vapor barrier film is laid in a single layer from the inside of the roof structure either vertically or horizontally relative to the rafters. The film should be spread with slight tension. The vapor barrier should be joined with an overlap using adhesive tape, and the connection to the rafter is best made using double-sided adhesive tape.
All connections of the vapor barrier strips should be made with the utmost care, using a minimum 10 cm overlap to prevent any leakage in the vapor barrier.
Very high waterproofing ≥ 60 kPa - Protects building walls from moisture coming from the ground, preventing the development of fungi and mold - Special embossing on the surface of the insulation prevents it from shifting in the layer of mortar - Several times greater flexibility and lower weight compared to horizontal foundation insulation of similar thickness made from PVC significantly facilitates installation - The use of polyethylene in the production of Confol Gamma instead of PVC gives the insulation better parameters in terms of bending and breaking at low temperatures.
Parameters
Thickness (mm) | 1.0 Width (m) | 0.25 / 0.3 / 0.4 / 0.5 / 0.6 Length (m) | 30 Color | graphite / black Waterproofing | ≥60 kPa
Application
Designed for horizontal insulation of walls and foundation footings - Prevents moisture from the ground from penetrating - Protects building walls from dampness and the development of fungi and mold by cutting off the capillary rise process - The Confol Gamma foil, due to its increased waterproofing, is ideal for areas with difficult hydrological conditions - Protects wood from moisture penetration as insulation between the wall and the wall plate.
