Concrete Surface Treatment
Dust-free flooring
A dust-free floor is a properly prepared and secured concrete floor whose surface does not chip and does not generate fine particles of mineral dust. It is most often made as a concrete load-bearing slab with a layer of floor hardener applied – a dry mineral, quartz, or metallic sprinkle – introduced into fresh concrete and mechanically troweled, creating an exceptionally dense, smooth, and resistant coating. It provides significantly greater durability and abrasion resistance than a regular concrete floor, reduces dusting, which is crucial in food, pharmaceutical, electronic warehouses, and high-bay storage halls. The technology includes professional ground preparation, reinforcement (with meshes, steel or polymer fibers), controlled expansion joints, proper concrete curing, and possible additional protection with epoxy or polyurethane resins. This solution is an integral part of the comprehensive implementation of steel halls and is individually tailored to user load requirements, sanitary standards, the functional layout of the facility, and future development prospects.
