The SKORPION 160 R chipper is a machine designed to work with medium-sized tractors (minimum power of 60 HP), mounted on a three-point hitch at the rear of the tractor. It performs excellently in areas where access by vehicle is difficult and is also a much cheaper alternative to mobile chippers powered by gasoline engines. The wood loading area, with a throat measuring 285 mm in width and 165 mm in height, allows for the chipping of branches along with trunks and shoots (with leaves and needles), as well as round wood up to a diameter of 16 cm. In the Skorpion 160 R chipper, the cutting system consists of a disc equipped with two cutting knives, working in conjunction with two support knives. It features a hydraulic branch feeder, consisting of two rollers driven by separate hydraulic motors. The hydraulic system in the chipper is powered by its own hydraulic pump, freeing the user from the need to use the tractor's hydraulics.
