Sectional Doors
Segmented gate
A sectional door is a type of door whose leaf consists of several horizontal panels, called sections, connected by hinges. When opening, the sections move along vertical and horizontal tracks, retracting into the ceiling of the hall. This solution means that the door does not require additional space in front of the building, which is crucial in warehouses or logistics centers, where every meter of maneuvering space for trucks and forklifts counts. The sections are most often made of insulated steel panels filled with polyurethane foam. This ensures very good thermal insulation properties, which is essential in heated production halls and high-bay warehouses. A sectional door can be equipped with glazing, ventilation grilles, passage doors (so-called service gates), and various types of mechanical and electronic security systems. Construction: sections made of galvanized steel with a paint coating, filled with rigid polyurethane foam; tracks made of galvanized steel profiles; torsion springs for balancing weight; guide rollers, hinges, trolleys; sealing system around the perimeter of the leaf and between sections.
