Gas analysis for shaking flasks - BCPreFerm - CO2/O2 gas analysis for shaking flasks and the entire scale-up area

The BCpreFerm from BlueSens is a complete analysis system for studying metabolic processes. It consists of up to six O2 and CO2 sensors, a BACCom box for data transmission, and the BlueVis software for automatic data collection. Due to the modular design of the system, the BCpreFerm can be connected to both shake flasks and fermenters. Unlike central gas analyzers, gas coolers, pumps, valves, gas treatment, etc., are not required. The CO2 and O2 sensors continuously measure gas concentrations directly in the fermentation vessel or via a flow adapter. Continuous measurement of CO2 and O2 levels allows for controlled experimental conditions while simultaneously analyzing metabolic processes. Oxygen or substrate limitations or metabolic shifts can be detected in a timely manner. For better comparability, the BCpreFerm measurement system can be used with both shake flasks and fermenters.
