Drinking Water Examination
Analysis of water intended for human consumption
We have laboratory equipment for conducting professional water analyses. We perform water analyses for our own needs to select and program devices. After arrangements, it is possible to carry out a physicochemical analysis of water, including sample collection or delivery, sending a water sample for testing (tel. 56 623 36 56). Purpose: to check the compliance of water with the requirements of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of March 29, 2007, on the requirements for the quality of water intended for human consumption (Journal of Laws No. 61, item 417, with amendments; Journal of Laws of April 29, 2010, No. 72, item 466). Parameters tested: Ammonia (NH4), Nitrites (NO2), Nitrates (NO3), Color, Chlorine, Manganese, Turbidity, pH, Specific conductivity, Sulfates, Total hardness, Odor, Suspended solids, TDS, Iron. Additionally: For each purchased device, we include a test for self-determination of water hardness. Description of the water hardness test: Rinse the measuring vessel with the water being tested. Pour in 5 ml (5 cm3 of the tested water) – preferably measured with the included syringe. Add the reagent and count the drops while continuously mixing. Observe the moment of color change from red to green. The number of drops that caused the color change indicates the hardness of the water expressed in degrees German. To measure hardness, you can use 10 ml of water, then 1 drop = 0.5 °dH. Conversion factors for water hardness units: 1°n = 1°dH = 17.8 mg CaCO3 = 1.79 °f = 0.36 mval.
