Two very different reasons bring people to this search, and they need different answers.
If you want another marketplace — one that handles payment and shipping — SaharaIndex isn't it. We don't process transactions and we'd rather say so than waste your time.
If you want suppliers who aren't on a marketplace at all, that's exactly what we do. Many established manufacturers, especially in Europe, never listed on one. A large share of our company records is built from official business registers — GLEIF plus the national registers of Norway, France, Estonia and Finland — so you can find those firms, confirm they legally exist, and contact them directly. No account, no platform messaging.

What we don't do
Worth stating plainly so you don't waste a trip:
- No escrow or payment protection. Payment terms are between you and the supplier.
- No logistics. We don't book freight or handle customs.
- No product catalog depth. Our strength is company discovery and identification, not browsing a million SKUs.
Using both is a reasonable answer. A marketplace when you want the transaction handled; a directory when you want to find a company that isn't on one.
